About ACS ENVR
The American Chemical Society Division of Environmental Chemistry (ACS ENVR) is a professional organization supporting over 3,000 chemists and environmental scientists. Founded in 1913, they promote research, education, and policy in environmental chemistry and sustainability.
The Challenge
The ACS ENVR Division was in need of a website that would energize member engagement and support their professional community. Their principal aim was to streamline the awards nomination process, highlight dynamic division programming and support communication. This required a revamp of their existing site architecture and features.
The Solution
After a deep dive into the strategic goals and digital presence of ACS ENVR, we developed a robust, simplified site architecture. Working closely with the Division, we modernized and integrated a streamlined awards nomination process. We prioritized dynamic programming, including webinars and ACS meetings, through a user-friendly events interface and incorporated a blog for sharing announcements, environmental research, policy, and more. To drive member value, we also integrated a dedicated job board to expand career resources and professional benefits.

We ensure smooth website performance via software update management, continuous site performance and security monitoring, and identification of potential improvements. Our aim is to create a dynamic digital ecosystem that empowers both division leadership and members.
